Participants took part in a temporary sculptural installation between high and low tide creating an ‘erosion line’ across the beach, tracing a contour of where the cliff face once stood.

The retreating tide was marked by screens painted live on-site by artist Sax Impey reflecting the subliminal processes of transformation in the landscape. This culminated in a ritual at the day’s end - an event directed towards South East Asia, where Indonesian dancer Parmin Ras created a simultaneous performance at Parengtritis on the south coast of Java at midnight local time.
